Yesterday, President Biden stood and delivered his first joint session address to the U.S. Congress. The Democrat president’s remarks were full of misleading statements and inaccurate assertions; nevertheless, left-wing America ate it all up and sang Biden’s praises.
Last night, the 46th president discussed the American Families Plan. Biden presented this tax hike as a form of relief for middle-income and lower-income families; although, nothing could be further from the truth.
In reality, Biden’s American Families Plan is a nightmare that would engender more government, higher taxes, and at least one million lost jobs. According to Breitbart News, a study conducted by the National Association of Manufacturers proves this.
The Truth About the American Families Plan
When Biden spoke on Wednesday night about the American Families Plan, he worked hard to sell it to the American public. The president spoke about child tax credits, affordable childcare, free-of-charge preschool, and a litany of other measures that sound good on the surface.
The problem with this American Families Plan, however, is that it relies on heavy taxation of the U.S. Even these new taxes on investors, corporations, the wealthy, etc., will not stop one million jobs from dying within the first couple years of this plan, if Biden gets his way.

See, the National Association of Manufacturers found out that Biden’s American Families Plan would undo all the new hires, investments, wage increases, etc., that stemmed from the Trump-era Tax Cuts and Jobs Act in 2017. Rolling back this progress would therefore hamper the manufacturing industry from continuing the successful operations they’ve maintained over the past few years.
More Government Control and Power
Unlike Democrats, Republicans did not jump for glee over Biden’s speech last night. The GOP rightfully censured the 46th president for getting before a podium and advocating for more government control and power over people’s lives.
Biden’s entire vision for America is just more government. Government creates all the jobs. Government spends all the money. Government makes the decisions. Nothing about empowering the independence and ingenuity of the American people. What happened to the American Dream?

Conservatives furthermore called out Biden last night for the socialist agenda he seeks to force upon the United States. Dressing up socialism and calling it “help” does not change the outcome or the reality. It also doesn’t change the fact that Biden is pushing for record, inordinate amounts of spending without taking a second to consider the long-term consequences.
