In life, nothing really comes for free. Even if it’s not readily apparent, there’s always a bill and someone has to foot that bill in order to get what they want.
The political left has learned how to monetize Americans’ desires for “free” things. For years now, far-left Democrats and socialists have campaigned on giving Americans all kinds of handouts; free college, free healthcare, free housing, free high speed internet, etc., are just some examples.
With a Democrat president in the Oval Office, the promises for freebies are back. According to Newsmax, President Biden will call for “free” preschool later today.
The Biden Administration on “Free” Preschool
Later today, Biden will deliver an address to Congress; during this address, the 46th president is set to introduce a bill that he’s calling the American Families Plan. Now, it turns out that a key part of this plan involves free-of-charge preschool for children between the ages of three and four.

This segment of the American Families Plan would amount to at least $200 billion. Biden, on the other hand, maintains that the average U.S. family would be saved $13K; furthermore, the president claims that five million kids throughout the nation will benefit from supposedly free preschool.
As part of this plan, the president also aims to pay preschool teachers and other faculty members $15 per hour.
How Will Biden Pay for His Initiatives?
“Free” preschool and other initiatives the Biden administration seeks to pass require funding. As such, the White House has decided that increasing taxes on wealthy Americans is what they view as an acceptable means of paying for these expensive programs.
In order to get more money from the wealthy, Biden aims to significantly increase the capital gains tax rate on folks earning more than $1M. The president is also pushing to hike taxes on giant corporations, a move that would greatly backfire on the employees of these businesses.

Biden wants to work with states in providing universal preschool for all 3- and 4-year-olds; some data suggests investments in pre-school pay off big in later years:

Democrats are already rallying behind Biden’s calls for free preschool and other handouts that simply will not pay for themselves. Sooner or later, when taxes go up, everyone feels the impact in one form or another.
