Yesterday, President Joe Biden went to Georgia as a celebration of hitting the 100-day milestone of his term in the White House. The first lady accompanied Biden and the pair then met up with Georgia Democrat Sens. Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock.
During Biden’s time in Georgia, he advocated for raising taxes on businesses and individuals. The Democrat president also repeated the tired left-wing talking line about the rich needing to “pay their fair share” in taxes.
However, Biden’s time in Georgia did not go off without a hitch. It turns out that protesters against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) weren’t too thrilled to see the president. As Newsmax confirms, these demonstrators made their grievances known in Georgia.
A Closer Look at Protesters During Biden’s Georgia Visit
On Thursday, the Democrat president held a car rally for his supporters to drive into and hear him speak. During this time, Biden made his typical talking points to promote big spending, high taxes, etc.,; however, this wasn’t enough to appease protesters. As a matter of fact, demonstrators made their frustrations with ICE known.
At some point into Biden’s speech, a group starting chanting to “abolish” Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Biden, who appeared somewhat rattled, stated that he agreed with the demonstrators; the Democrat president then urged the anti-ICE protesters to grant him “five more days.”

Shortly thereafter, Biden shifted the subject of his remarks to private prisons. Per the Democrat president’s own admission, he is opposed to private prisons in America. Biden also claims that these institutions are on their way to being shut down.
Finally, security removed the anti-ICE protesters from Biden’s rally.
ICE in the United States
Leftists have a well-established pattern of seeking to abolish ICE. Democrats’ calls to do away with ICE predate back to the Trump administration and are still just as dangerous now as they were before.
Americans should take note of the fact that Biden didn’t stand up to the anti-ICE demonstrators or state that he wouldn’t shut down ICE. In fact, this president even urged the mob to grant him a few more days. This is problematic for several reasons.

ICE not only deals with immigration matters, but also takes on human trafficking and other serious threats in America. What’s interesting is that none of the folks calling to abolish ICE have an alternative for who would do ICE’s job were the institution to be dismantled.
