Democrats Remain Under Heavy Fire for Court-Packing Attempt

Last week, the Democrat Party introduced a bill known as the Judiciary Act of 2021. Leftist lawmakers, during this time, also falsely accused the GOP of “stealing” multiple Supreme Court seats; shortly thereafter, Democrats claimed that there is nothing wrong with packing the court with new justices.

The backlash against packing the Supreme Court came swiftly. Republicans didn’t hesitate to point out the obvious dangers of packing the court. The GOP also pointed out that on numerous past occasions, leftists actually opposed packing the Supreme Court. During President Biden’s time as a senator decades ago, he infamously described court-packing as an idea that’s “boneheaded.”

Meanwhile, as Republicans gear up for midterm elections, the court-packing attempt is playing a huge role in how Democrats are perceived and talked about, as Breitbart News reports.

A Naked Power Grab

As Democrats work to justify and explain away their push to stack the Supreme Court with four liberal justices, it’s not working out so well.

Even the deceased Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, a figure Democrats revered, spoke out against packing the Supreme Court. Democrats have conveniently forgotten about this as they scheme for absolute power in this country.

Tennessee GOP Sen. Marsha Blackburn spoke with Fox News yesterday about the new leftist attempt to pack the court. Blackburn also explained that Democrats are using “political convenience” to get what they want, despite their earlier protestations.

Finally, the Tennessee Republican senator stated that what Democrats are doing now is “bad cop-good cop” in the sense of their policies. Blackburn explained that the left does this by having their most extreme politicians go out and propose crazy reforms such as the Green New Deal; then, Democrats turn around and present a seemingly harmful infrastructure bill.

The only kicker is that just 6% of the bill is actually centered around infrastructure.

Preserving the Integrity of the Supreme Court

It is absolutely vital for Republicans to ensure that Democrats do not succeed in packing the Supreme Court. Right now, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is claiming that she will not bring the Judiciary Act of 2021 to the congressional floor; however, Pelosi has previously resisted the far-left only to later give into them.

Right now, the 50/50 Senate split combined with the filibuster is standing in Democrats’ way; however, the left is already rallying to end the filibuster. These are precarious times in the United States, with Biden and Democrats in power.
