Texas has repeatedly and consistently bore the brunt of illegal immigration. Because of Texas being a border state, the White House’s permissive attitude towards unlawful crossings leaves Texas having to deal with the aftermath.
Gov. Greg Abbott has been clear that Texas doesn’t have what it takes to handle all of this. Moreover, the Lone Star State repeatedly asked the Biden administration to uphold the country’s immigration laws and put a stop to free-for-all crossings.
Since the White House refuses to do this, Texas is taking matters into its own hands by sending some migrants to the sanctuary cities and left-wing communities full of Democrats who support illegal immigration.
Abbott recently ensured that migrants received free transportation on Christmas Eve to the Naval Observatory, which also happens to be the current home of Vice President Kamala Harris.
Predictably, Democrats are now unleashing new attacks against the Texas governor, according to Breitbart News.
New Meltdowns From the Left
The attacks against Abbott over his sending migrants to the Naval Observatory is a story that has played out time and time again.
Democrats are condemning the transport of migrants, but won’t condemn or change the circumstances at the border that are fueling these dropoffs in left-wing communities.
Texas has bused over 15,900 migrants to sanctuary cities.

Many of the latest attacks against Abbott involve character assassinations, allegations that he doesn’t care about migrants, and other emotionally-charged statements.
The Texas governor is pushing back against criticism by explaining he’s granting relief to various communities in his state that aren’t able to handle mass border crossings. Rather than fixing the issues on the border, however, Joe Biden is on vacation.

Illegal immigration under the current president has created a nightmare where drugs, contraband, and prohibited weapons are also making their way over the border.
The more these issues happen, the greater bandwidth that Texas’ border agents and other personnel have to use to put a stop to it all. At the end of the day, there is only so much that Border Patrol in Texas can do.
Title 42 remains for now.

If the Biden administration worked with the Lone Star State, rather than disregarding its alerts and warnings about situations on the border, migrants wouldn’t be caught in the crosshairs.
Democrats have made welcoming illegal immigration a centerpiece of their platform. They claim no person should be turned away. Although many left-wing leaders, when tested by this with migrant arrivals on their own doorstep, have a tendency to change their tune.
This issue will undoubtedly persist into 2023 and beyond unless the current White House makes some changes.
