Emotional Pentagon Becomes Laughingstock Before the World

Pentagon spokesman John Kirby has become a laughingstock for the world.

The spokesman of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, stated Kirby is “losing his nerve” as he issued an emotional response over the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Pentagon Spokesman Mocked Over Emotional Behavior

On Friday, a reporter asked a question from Kirby about whether or not Putin is a rational actor in global politics.

Responding to that, he suggested “it is hard to look” at the ambitions of the Russian president in Ukraine.

Similarly, the Pentagon spokesman asserted there is no ethical or moral justification for Putin’s actions in the country.

Furthermore, Kirby noted it is disturbing for him to look at the images of suffering Ukrainians, who are the subjects of Putin’s merciless aggression.

While stating he does not want to dive into Putin’s psychology, Kirby claimed Putin is under depravity.

Emotionally disturbed, Kirby continued, saying no one can have the “moral” courage to defend what is happening in Ukraine.

In addition to that, he stated the US does not “appreciate the degree” to which Russia is indulging in committing brutality in Ukraine at the moment “with much disregard to lives.”

These were the comments of Kirby, which gave the Russian Foreign Ministry a reason to mock the US. The spokesman said this wording was “gibberish,” adding a US “rear admiral” cannot comprehend the ambitions of the Russian army in Ukraine.

While posting on the social media platform Telegram, Zakharova noted that Kerby talked “some nonsense” about Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Similarly, she called Kirby’s comments about her president “rude, insulting, and troublesome.”

Russia Continues Its Aggression Against Ukraine

Meanwhile, as Russian aggression continued, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed hope that his forces would continue resisting Putin’s army.

He added Russia wants to make Donbas territory “uninhabited” with its constant bombardment of civilians and infrastructures that can eliminate the signs of life.

From the day of the invasion, almost 5.5 million Ukrainians have migrated to other countries.

Not only this, but nearly 6,134 civilian casualties happened in the war-torn country, according to the data of the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights.

Since the images of the massacre in Ukraine’s area of Bucha went viral, there have been rising concerns about Russia’s ambitions.

While the West has accused Putin of committing war crimes, Russia has repeatedly denied any massacre, accusing Ukraine of faking the images and videos.

Russia accused Ukraine of committing war crimes against its soldiers. As per Ukraine, over 22,400 Russian armed personnel have been killed since the start of the invasion.

While speaking to Chinese state-controlled media, the Russian foreign minister stated peace negotiations could not be successful, as long as the western world is not ready to lift its sanctions on the Russian economy.
