Fauci Accumulated Riches, Due to the Pandemic

During the pandemic, Dr. Fauci, along with his family, made incredible gains in their finances, due to perks given to them by the United States government.

Recently, the top virologist called a Republican senator a “moron,” when the senator pressed him on his financial disclosures during a Senate hearing.

Health Bureaucracy tried to save Dr. Fauci with redacted documents

Adam Andrzejewski, the CEO of OpenTheBooks.com, told Fox News Digital about his ongoing legal battles against Fauci; he looks forward to opening the professional and financial records of the doctor to the general public.

According to him, Dr. Fauci made handsome profits out of his federal employment, travel perks, royalties, and investment gains.

When OpenTheBooks.com first filed the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request in January 2021, the National Institute for Health was unresponsive until May. In May, the NIH finally released 51 pages of redacted information.

However, the watchdog asserted the information made no mention of Dr. Fauci’s financial disclosures, including his job description, confidentiality, and conflict of interest documents.

Although Dr. Fauci’s disclosures are open to the public theoretically, as per US law, they are not listed in the same database which hosts the disclosures of most federal officials. So, if anyone requests them, it can take months for the authorities to release them.

Thus, after receiving meager information, OpenTheBooks.com continued struggling to get more data and pushed the National Institute of Health to release further information.

However, government officials threatened Andrzejewski with a lawsuit. This prompted the watchdog to partner with a legal group called Judicial Watch.

Andrzejewski claimed the new lawsuit the legal group filed moved quickly in the federal court. This forced the government agency to admit they held back 1,200 pages of the document while releasing only 51 pages of redacted information.

He further stated every single sentence of the 1,200 pages depicts the conflict of interests, as nearly 1,000 NIH scientists are receiving royalty payments. According to the CEO, this is not illegal, but it should be disclosed fairly.

GOP Sen. Marshall grilled Dr. Fauci over financial mismanagement

Republican Senator Roger Marshall has been an ardent critic of Dr. Fauci’s finances lately. Marshall claimed he failed to get Fauci’s financial disclosures, despite trying “for weeks.”

When the senator asked the doctor where he could find his financial disclosures, Fauci answered anyone can request them from the government.

The senator, however, told Fox News the White House and virologist are playing a game with Americans by releasing only redacted documents and not responding to any queries for months on end.

OpenTheBooks.com first came into the spotlight when it revealed in 2021 that Dr. Fauci is the highest-paid federal government employee.

He draws more salary than even the president of the country. Not only this, but Fauci is also expected to get the biggest retirement package in the history of the country, the watchdog reported.
