In politics, rarely is it too early to begin preparing for the next upcoming election.

Republicans are already gearing up for both the 2022 midterms and the 2024 presidential election. Many conservatives in the nation would like to see Florida GOP Governor Ron DeSantis run for the White House. DeSantis’ political popularity has surged among the right-wing due to his leadership of Florida and policies overall.

Meanwhile, President Joe Biden stated at his most recent press conference that he plans to seek another White House term with Vice President Kamala Harris at his side. However, Biden may be in for a bit of a surprise, as Breitbart News explains.

According to U.S. Bookies, a betting website on the internet, Harris actually has a stronger chance than Biden of winning the Democrat Party’s 2024 presidential nomination.

The 2024 Presidential Election

A U.S. Bookies spokesperson shared some public remarks explaining why they view Harris as a likelier 2024 candidate than Biden. The group explained that despite the time between now and 2024, they believe that a “historic election” is approaching.

U.S. Bookies stated that since female candidates have strong favoritism levels on both the GOP and Democrat sides, the 2024 presidential race could actually comprise two female candidates.

Many Americans have stated their beliefs that Biden is not truly running the show, despite his status as the U.S. president on paper. Folks largely believe that Harris is the one running things; the idea that Biden won’t last through his first term and Harris will ascend to the presidency by default is also quite prevalent.

The Border Crisis

Last month, Vice President Kamala Harris became in charge of handling the Southern border crisis; yet, weeks later, many Americans are wondering why Harris is still missing in action.

The border crisis just keeps getting worse and worse. On Thursday, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy revealed that the U.S. drug trade is benefiting from chaos at the Southern border.

Harris, meanwhile, has not communicated to the American people any plan to fix the border crisis. She’s traveled to Colorado, California, and other states, but not to the Southern border. At this point, many Americans are now concluding that the vice president either doesn’t have a plan or doesn’t want the nation to know just how precarious this crisis has turned.
