Ivanka Trump Defends Dr. Birx, Dunks on Joe Biden

At this point in the 2020 presidential election, Democrat candidate Joe Biden is known for stepping in it. The former vice president continuously says things he shouldn’t; endorsements from Obama and virtually all of Biden’s former 2020 rivals haven’t changed that.

Earlier this week, Biden decided to weigh in on the nation’s response to coronavirus. Per the former vice president’s own admission, he believes that the “only person” America should hear from regarding COVID-19 is Dr. Anthony Fauci.

This is actually quite curious, considering Fauci’s pattern of inconsistencies when speaking about coronavirus. To make matters even worse, Fauci has spoken positively about longterm shutdowns and stated that our country can’t get back to normal without a vaccine.

Yesterday, first daughter and presidential senior adviser Ivanka Trump took to Twitter, challenging Biden’s assertion that Fauci’s voice is the only one Americans should hear. In so doing, she also pointed out the background and credentials of Dr. Deborah Birx, a member of the coronavirus task force.

A Breakdown of What Happened

Biden’s assertion that Fauci is the “only person” who should be talking about coronavirus occurred during an interview with Milwaukee’s TMJ4. According to the increasingly senile Democrat candidate, only having Fauci speak about COVID-19 would make America “better off.”

Ivanka Trump feels differently though. Taking to her Twitter account, the first daughter posted an article to the interview and questioned Biden’s assertion. After Trump noted Dr. Birx’s experience as an “Army Colonel and a subject matter expert,” she asked why Biden believes Birx doesn’t deserve to speak.

Thus far, the former vice president has yet to answer for himself. Quite frankly, no one should hold their breath waiting for him to do so either; Biden is known for rapidly losing his train of thought and stumbling over his words.

Why Fauci Shouldn’t be the “Only One” to Discuss Coronavirus

Americans did not elect Fauci to serve this country or make decisions about the United States. Many Americans in this country have actually called for President Trump to fire Fauci, due to the latter’s inconsistencies about COVID-19, claims that a vaccine is unavoidable for our country to get back to normal, etc.

During her time on the coronavirus task force, Dr. Birx has encouraged Americans to practice social distancing and CDC guidelines in order to flatten the curve of COVID-19. In recent weeks, Birx also helped detail the phased plan for reopening the United States. The first phase of the White House’s plan is presently underway in several states.
