Republican Congressman Brian Babin grilled White House press secretary Jen Psaki about her intentional effort to stay silent on Joe Biden’s links with the foreign business dealings of his son.
Psaki Showed Alienation From Biden’s Controversial Meetings
Speaking on “Fox & Friends,” Babin asserted it is “totally unacceptable” that the press secretary is silent about matters of public interest.
On Monday, Psaki indicated she had no knowledge about 19 visits to the United States of a top business partner of Hunter Biden. He met not only with Joe Biden, who was then sitting as the Vice President, but also with other top officials.
According to Babin, Americans deserve to know the truth about what was going on under the White House of Obama when Biden was serving as the vice president.
He further indicated even a person with “half a brain” knows the ambitions of Biden back then and why he met with top business partners of his son.

Babin also expressed his concerns about the silence of the White House and big tech, at the time of this incident.
However, the lawmaker asserted one of the possible reasons why this news has been making rounds nowadays is big tech and the mass media are not happy with the Biden administration anymore.
Thus, he emphasized to the custodians of the information that the whole story should be revealed this time.
The secretary dodged this question when PBS reporter Lisa Desjardins raised the issue in Psaki’s daily briefing. She reminded her about the Obama White House logs that mentioned the visits by Hunter’s business partner.
However, Psaki said she had “no information” on the issue and she would follow up if she got to know something new.
These latest reveals from the Post made Biden extremely controversial.
He maintained for years that he neither met with Hunter’s partners, nor discussed anything regarding Hunter’s overseas business dealings.
Biden Avoided His Son’s Questions in White House
Meanwhile, when a reporter asked Biden the reasons for his meetings with his son’s business partner on the White House lawn, the president continued walking without responding to the question.
While Biden has been outright denying these meetings, this is not the first time he has been caught lying about his son’s business partners.
In 2020, the New York Post published the photos of Joe Biden attending a 2015 dinner with a group of business partners of his son. Included in the group were a Russian billionaire and a former mayor.
Reportedly, billionaire Yelena Baturina paid over $3.5 million to a company associated with Hunter Biden in 2014.
Similarly, another associate of Hunter thanked him for arranging a meeting with the then-vice president.
The matter became even more controversial as Biden has not imposed any sanctions on Baturina, who is the richest woman in Russia.
Although the administration was quick to impose chronic economic sanctions on other Russian billionaires after the Ukraine invasion.
