House Republicans have a very clear objective for the 2022 midterm elections. Quite simply, this objective is to regain the majority in the House of Representatives. If Republicans pull this off — something that they came close to doing last year — it will significantly change political dynamics in the federal government.

Leader Kevin McCarthy continues to remain hard at work to win next year’s midterm elections. Nearly one month ago, the House Minority Leader went down to Florida to convene with former President Trump; this talk resulted in the former president agreeing to assist House Republicans in their midterm races next year.

According to Breitbart News, McCarthy is clear on the necessary blueprint for Republicans to regain the House of Representatives.

The Blueprint for a 2022 House GOP Victory

While speaking for a direct interview with Breitbart News, McCarthy stated that 2020 marks the first occasion since 1994 when zero GOP House incumbents lost their seats. The House Minority Leader then chalked up this new record to the message and quality of the Republican candidates.

McCarthy later explained that Republicans picked up seats in California, even in districts that Donald Trump didn’t win. After citing other records wins for Republicans, the House Minority Leader noted that maintaining a message of “rebuild, restore, renew” against the Democrats’ “defund, dismantle, destroy” message is what will help Republicans win in 2022.

House Republicans have largely lauded McCarthy for the record victories that House Republicans achieved in 2020. Now, the GOP simply needs to build upon this progress in 2022 to maintain momentum and send Nancy Pelosi packing her bags.

The Fundraising Element

Fundraising is also going to be a huge factor in the 2022 midterm races. Thankfully, Republicans are already ahead on that front. Several GOP congressional groups, Republican organizations, and GOP PACs are pledging hefty sums to help Republicans take back the House.

Between messaging and fundraising, the Republican Party appears poised to win back the lower congressional chamber, come November 2022. The GOP has already begun directing their energy towards the districts that they need to secure.

Meanwhile, Republicans are also hitting Democrats on policy matters, such as Biden’s continued closure of schools (something that now opposes CDC recommendations) and the shuttering of energy jobs.
