NAACP Denies Biden’s Claim They Endorsed His Candidacy

On Friday, Joe Biden, the presumptive nominee of the Democrat Party, landed in extremely hot water. Biden remained under fire after alleging that African-Americans who are uncertain about voting for him over President Trump “ain’t black.”

Since the censure, Biden and his 2020 election campaign have tried to do damage control. However, the racially-charged statement made during the former vice president’s interview with a co-host of The Breakfast Club is just the beginning.

During an incoherent rant on why Biden believes black Americans owe him their vote, the presumptive Democrat nominee stated that the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) has endorsed him each time he’s sought public office.

Last night, the NAACP issued a statement on their website, confirming that they have never once endorsed Biden’s candidacy at any time whatsoever.

The Statement from the NAACP

Derrick Johnson, the NAACP president and CEO, did not mince words when responding to Biden’s claim of the organization repeatedly endorsing him.

In the statement on the NAACP’s website, the group confirmed that as a “non-partisan organization,” they choose to abstain from endorsing “candidates for political office at any level.” This notice from the NAACP reveals that Biden lied during his interview with The Breakfast Club.

Although the former vice president attempted to walk back his “you ain’t black” comments, he has yet to acknowledge the reality that the NAACP has never once endorsed him, contrary to his prior claims.

In additional portions of the NAACP’s online response to Biden’s false claim, the group cited their sole purpose as advancing and pushing “our Black communities towards an equitable reality.”

If Biden will claim that black Americans “ain’t black” if they don’t support him and then lie about endorsements from the NAACP, what else will he do? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below!
