New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) has come under fire for many reasons in 2020. Numerous Americans took issue with his management of COVID-19; this namely pertains to shutdown edicts and the Democrat governor’s decision to place coronavirus patients into the same facilities as nursing home residents.
Republicans have branded Cuomo’s leadership as ineffective and derelict. Furthermore, the New York governor has repeatedly called for mask-wearing and mask mandates; however, this didn’t stop Cuomo from being photographed out and about without using the face coverings he’s demanded others to wear.
It turns out that the New York governor just may have bigger fish to fry, though. On Sunday, a former aide of Cuomo accused him of sexual harassment which allegedly took place for years on end, according to Breitbart News.
Reviewing the Sexual Assault Allegations Against Gov. Cuomo
Lindsey Boylan, an aide who worked as Cuomo’s deputy secretary between 2015 and 2018, is making some pretty serious allegations against her former employer. Yesterday morning, Boylan took to Twitter and declared that Cuomo “sexually harassed” her for multiple years on end.
Not knowing what to expect what’s the most upsetting part aside from knowing that no one would do a damn thing even when they saw it.
No one.
And I *know* I am not the only woman.

The former deputy secretary is also claiming that other individuals bore witness to the allegations she’s bringing against the New York governor.
Before slamming Cuomo for abuse of power, Boylan stated that she experienced harassment over her appearance; the former Cuomo aide furthermore maintains that she is not the only woman to experience this type of treatment from Cuomo.
Reactions to Boylan’s Allegations Against Cuomo
The accounts that Boylan is bringing against the New York governor have certainly raised some questions.
On Sunday, certain Twitter users called for the former deputy secretary to specify the names of individuals who witnessed the alleged sexual harassment and didn’t act or report it.
Others questioned the timing of the claims brought forward by Boylan; just days ago, news broke that Cuomo is under consideration for a position in Biden’s administration, should the latter be sworn into office.
Welcome to your reckoning @NYGovCuomo Do not deny. Take ownership of your behavior. Your kind of power abuse will no longer be tolerated. Lindsey Boylan deserves respect, dirty politicians do not. https://t.co/tDua0U42qh
