Pelosi: Trump’s “Ego Trip” Endangering Lives of His Supporters

Democrat leaders continue to employ double standards against gatherings in the United States. When the gatherings pertain to Black Lives Matter, George Floyd, or other leftist causes, Democrats are all for it. Heck, they’ll even join these rallies in spite of any social distancing rules.

However, when gatherings pertain to protesting lockdowns or rallying with Trump supporters, the rules change. Suddenly, Democrat leaders become concerned with health risks and the transmission of COVID-19.

We’ve all seen this as Democrats continue attacking the president for his decision to hold a rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma this Saturday.

Yesterday, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi proceeded with new attacks against the president. Breitbart News reports Pelosi’s allegations that Trump is on an “ego trip” because of his upcoming rally in Tulsa on June 20th.

Why Pelosi’s Accusing Trump of Endangering His Supporters’ Lives

While giving an interview to CNN, the House Speaker asserted that Trump supporters who attend the president’s Tulsa rally will be endangering their health and the health of those they live with. Pelosi then used this claim to state that both the president and vice president are being dishonest about the magnitude of COVID-19’s threat to lives.

While going after Trump and Pence on CNN, Pelosi declined to explain why she had such a different disposition regarding the George Floyd gatherings. As a matter of fact, the House Speaker actually joined one of these protests…with her security detail in tow, of course.

Once again, Democrat leaders are trying to have it both ways when it comes to large gatherings. If the gatherings are anti-police, the left is all for it, even in the absence of any social distancing. Yet, when gatherings are pro-Trump, all of a sudden, it’s an “ego trip” and a danger to Americans’ lives.

If gatherings were truly as dangerous as the House Speaker is trying to claim, Democrats should’ve kept this same attitude when people gathered in the streets to protest George Floyd’s death and call for defunding the police.
