Trump Legal Team Bringing Fresh Lawsuit Against Georgia

Yesterday, Georgia announced the completion of its by-hand vote count. In making this announcement, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger declared Biden as the winner of the Peach State, even alleging that there’s “no doubt.”

There are some issues in Georgia, however, and these issues just seem to keep piling up. Although the secretary of state alleges no foul play, multiple Georgian poll watchers are attesting otherwise in signed affidavits; these reports come on top of Georgia’s recount failing to include signature checks.

Throughout the Georgia recount process, the president repeatedly warned that the lack of signature checks tainted the effectiveness of the procedure. Nevertheless, this did not stop Georgia from continuing ahead anyway.

Therefore, the Trump campaign declared yesterday their decision to bring a fresh lawsuit against Georgia, according to Breitbart News.

Why the Trump Campaign is Suing Georgia

Yesterday, the president’s legal team held a press conference where they discussed the massive evidence they’ve unearthed. Multiple lawyers spoke, professing that Donald Trump is the true winner of the 2020 presidential race and that they’ll prove it.

Rudy Giuliani, a Trump aide, also shared critical remarks about the campaign’s decision to sue Georgia. According to Giuliani, fraud tainted the legitimacy of Georgia’s by-hand recount; furthermore, the by-hand recount did not consist of a single signature check.

The top Trump lawyer also maintains that out-of-state votes, double votes, and other irregularities happened in the Peach State. All of this will come out in a court of law, per Giuliani.

Problems in the Peach State

Georgia has gained a significant amount of negative press. Earlier in the week, Americans learned that the state’s audit led to the discovery of thousands of missed ballots in Floyd County and Fayette County. Since this discovery, the elections board in Floyd County actually voted to fire their director.

The nation additionally learned that the populous Fulton County is under investigation for its manner of dealing with the election. None of these details point to an election that is free and void of fraud; however, the Georgia secretary of state insists otherwise.

In the days and weeks to come, the American people can expect to learn more about the particulars of the Georgia lawsuit brought by Trump’s legal team.
